The following is a list of free publications from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other organizations that are available in the Japan Information Center. - A quarterly magazine introducing contemporary Japanese culture and society to people all over the world. The printed version of the magazine is available at Japanese Embassies and Consulates.

- A colorful booklet illustrating the geography, people, lifestyle, economy and culture of Japan. An excellent basic introduction to Japan, especially suitable for elementary students.
- THE JAPAN BOOK
- A comprehensive book which includes detailed information for adults and older students on Japan’s geography, history, government, economy, and culture.
- “JAPAN” BROCHURE
- A brochure which includes ‘blurbs’ of information for adults and older students on various aspects of Japan and its culture. It also has a map of Japan and places to visit.
