The Consulate General of Japan in New York is hiring fulltime chauffeurs starting immediately. We offer a professional and structured environment for work. Paid leave, and a health/dental insurance and social security support are available. If interested, please send us your resume.

General Duties

- Drive our officers and staff to NYC metropolitan area as directed
- Clean/Maintain the vehicles in good working condition
- Delivery
- Report and keep records of the duties
- Trips to different area occasionally
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and background
- Professional driving experience preferred. Experience chauffeuring is a plus
- Must have excellent knowledge of the NYC metropolitan area
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Must be self-motivated
- Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, and Excel etc)
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Knowledge and experienced with vehicle emergency repairs, able to change automobile tires and handle minor on-road maintenance preferred
- Have a friendly and service oriented personality and professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Understanding importance of Teamwork
- Willing to work overtime and trip to other area when it is necessary
- Punctuality
- Have interest and understanding for Japanese Culture

Salary/Benefits

- $30K /year approximately

Basic Work hours: Monday through Friday 9:15 to 17:45
