The Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays for Ms. Sue Atsuko Kawashima (Associate Head, Japanese Program of the Department of Classical and Oriental Studies, CUNY Hunter College) was held on January 25th, 2019 at Ambassador Yamanouchi's official residence.
