The Consulate General of Japan in New York announces the "Cultural Exchange Program through Calligraphy" to be held in the Japan Information Center Gallery from Tuesday, September 18th through Thursday, September 20th. This exhibition is in collaboration with International Exchange Association of Hikawa Town, Shimane Prefecture as part of its continuing introduction to Japanese culture program.
Many calligraphy works written by masters and high school students in Shimane Prefecture will be exhibited. Master Tsutomu Mochida will give a lecture and demonstration everyday at 2:00pm.
