| Katsura Sunshine |
Katsura Sunshine received his professional debut in Singapore on April 26, 2009, and completed his three-year Rakugo apprenticeship in November 2012. Sunshine has performed in Singapore, the United States and Canada, as well as throughout Japan.
His performance remains in the traditional style of kneeling on a cushion in a simple kimono with only a Japanese fan and hand towel for props, but Sunshine's witty stories fill the linguistic and cultural distances between Japan and the U.S.
