Live, work, and teach English in Japan on the 2023 Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program! Join an online info session to learn about the program and its application process directly from our program coordinators and alumni.
Each Zoom Webinar is structured as follows, with minor variations: JET Program overview presentation (~30 minutes) --> former JET participant's account of their individual experience (~15 minutes) --> Q&A. Please note that only the latter two segments will differ across each session.
A JET Program Coordinator and guest alumnus will discuss general information about the JET Program, including available positions, salary, living situations, and application requirements. They will also answer your questions - everything from how to assemble a strong application to what life may be like in Japan.
Our events for 2022 have ended, but recordings for our online sessions will remain available for viewing until November 15. You may access each recording by registering through the respective links:

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program is a competitive employment opportunity that allows young professionals to live and work in cities, towns, and villages throughout Japan. It is the only teaching exchange program managed by the government of Japan.
Founded in 1987, JET has sent more than 70,000 participants from around the globe (including more than 35,800 Americans) to work in schools, boards of education, and government offices throughout Japan. Most participants serve as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) and work in public and private schools, while some work as Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) at local government offices.
Being a JET is an opportunity to work and to represent the United States as cultural ambassadors to Japan. New applications are only accepted in the fall, so don't miss your chance!
