April 29, 2018 - The Government of Japan announced the recipients of its Spring 2018 Decorations which include two distinguished U.S. citizens and one Distinguished Japanese from the area under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Japan in New York.

日本国政府は、４月２９日（日）に平成３０年春の叙勲受章者を発表し、当館管内では以下の方が受章されました。

Mr. Robert John Valentine
Former Manager of the Professional Baseball team in Japan, Chiba Lotte Marines

Decoration: The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette
For his outstanding contributions to the development of Japanese baseball and to the advancement of friendly relations between Japan and the United States.
