Q1 Where can I get infromation on Japanese tourism?
The Consulate provides only general information about Japan and its culture. You can find useful information about tourism in Japan at the Japan National Tourism Organization(JNTO). It was established by the Japanese government to help you plan trips, get maps and various other helpful hints on traveling in Japan.
Q2. Can the Consulate General of Japan in New York offer Japanese-English translation service?
The Consulate does not offer any translation services.
Q3. Can I get any pamphlets or materials on Japan for a school project?
The Consulate has a variety of resources that can be picked up or sent out to those who are interested in Japanese culture. Please contact us and let us know what you are looking for.
