The Conferment Ceremony of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays for Ms. Judith Setsuko Hata was held on 2018. 3. 7. at the Nippon Club in New York.

This decoration is for her outstanding contribution towards the promotion of mutual cultural understanding between Japan and the United States through her teaching of Ikebana.
