Exhibition Summary:
The theme of this Timeless oil painting exhibition is staying hopeful and devoting oneself to life -no matter what the situation is at any point in life.
Ms. Yamagata uses vivid colors to paint her journeys to better state. All of the motifs and figures in her paintings are fighting to reach for hopes and dreams in this cruel and complex world.
- Artist biography:
Kiyoka Yamagata started drawing when she was 5 years old. It used to be her little secret until she was encouraged to show her work in 2009. Since then she has been consistently showing her works in galleries and art fairs in New York, Europe and Japan.
