Maekake Exhibition [ November 5 - November 30, 2012 ]

The Consulate General of Japan in New York is unveiling the "Maekake Exhibition", which will be held in the Japan Information Center Gallery from Monday, November 5th to Monday, November 30. This exhibition is a part of our series of programs introducing Japanese culture through traditional arts.

* A "Maekake" is a Japanese traditional apron, originally made to be worn over a kimono.
