On Friday, July 6th, the Consulate General of Japan in New York will observe "Yukata (Summer Kimono) Day". In recognition of this day, some staff will be dressed in yukata as they greet visitors.
Please visit and enjoy the cool summer-wear at the Consulate in the midst of the hot summer weather. And you can experience Japanese culture in our "Japan-US Exchange Space" and "Make-a-Wish! TANABATA Celebration" @ the Japan Information Center.
