- The artist, Ms. Sasaki, will be displaying an unprecedented style of work which features the mixture of calligraphy with the art of flower arrangement, ikebana. Please come enjoy the ephemeral beauty of the plants' lives, as expressed through abstract calligraphy and fresh flowers.

Born: 1971, Japan Education: University of Akita
Ms. Hisae Sasaki started her career as an assistant graphic designer at three design offices in Tokyo. In 2003, she became an independent freelance designer and started exploring calligraphy in 2005, Japanese flower arrangement in 2008, and she combines and develops these arts in her unique, three-dimensional artwork today.
