Coping with Great East Japan Earthquake

Since the devastating Great East Japan Earthquake and subsequent tsunami struck the eastern part of Japan on March 11, the Consulate General of Japan has received an outpouring of warm sympathy and kind offers to help the victims of this terrible disaster. I would like to sincerely thank each of you, our valuable friends, for your thoughts and prayers. I also wish to express my appreciation for the enormous generosity in support of the relief efforts.

Japan faces an unprecedented situation in the wake of this tragedy. As we work to recover and rebuild, it is a time for us to be united and resilient. We look to you for continued prayers, valuable advice and encouragement during this trying time.
